Okay, time to come clean. I said I go to church, what I should of said is that I am a Christian, I’ve made a commitment and that’s giving me a real dilemma, should I carry on blogging? I like the idea of sharing thoughts with other people, I can’t be as honest with friends and family as I can whilst blogging. But I really beat myself up when I visit other blogs and see some of the pictures posted on them, the explicit ones, you know what I mean.
I find myself loggin in and then start exploring and if the blog warns of explicit content I don’t always say no, I go and take a peak. I know that if I didn’t blog I wouldn’t have the same temptation. I still go surfing for porn but I can fight that temptation better than I can when I come on blogger.
I know that if I was a better Christian I would be able to resist the temptation to look at porn all together and then there’s the other things in my life which I do which I know I shouldn’t. Do you think I should stay blogging or not?

truth be told i only like to read and comment on blogs but a lot of people tell they get a lot out of writing them. If you want more readers make some comments on other blogs and email some people who write blogs.
As far as being a christian well i think you can believe in god and christ and still be OK. There are other bloggers who believe as you do and there are ones who believe in nothing. You may always believe or over time you may change or modify your beliefs as you grow and learn.
What i thik is important is that you can believe what you feel is right for you and i can for me and it should not cause conflict of any kind between us.
Porn whitegoods i understand it goes against what you have learned but i also know of its draw. I reckon porn of some sort has existed for ever.
We aree not peerfect people and while i can not understand fully how you feel i think if you try to live a perfect life as you imagine you may not live a life at all.
And why i can not judge your beliefs as i am not worthy of that i am worried you may feel that being a christian and being gay is incompatable and being a christian will in the end be the right thing to do.
If you are headed there then i think you may end up regreting some things in your life. I know a believer of god who has left his church on utube "theophi1us" who speaks to some of your concerns about being a good christian and being gay. You might want ot watch someof his videos
You have to decide on a set of moral values you want ot live by but i suggest leaving some room for things you may have a need of that others may not approve of.
As you grow older your passion for porn maybe replaced but giving it up all together even you know that will not work.
As far as blogging that is up to you but i do come by and read you almost every day. I have a email account on my profile page if you ever want to email me but i think blogging does give people a forum to let there thoughts out upon the world.
If you work at it a little you can make some friends who can share your struggles and good times. Well i hope to see a new post tomorrow. take care and be safe

Hey WG I was also raised a Christian and I still am and as the other bob said as I grew up my views and thoughts have changed and even still are changing. I've always tried to keep an open mind and listen to every one's beliefs and opinions and learn from them what helps me to be a better person. We all have to deal with temptations and we don't always choose the right path but we should take that chance to learn and improve ourselves. And you can still be a good Christian and human being even if you fall for some of many temptations you'll face throughout your life. So if it helps writing your blog then please continue

Wanking is not sinful. Its just what yer body can do and it feels good and who is hurt? HUH??? Research shows that wanking is damn near universal in young boys AND MEN AND EVEN HAPPILY MARRIED MEN. If Dan is on a trip, well I am no prude.
It is very easy to be gay and christian. And to live as a gay man who is sexually active. There are many well respected religious leaders of all denominations who agree with me.
Throughout history power seeking religious leaders have sought to control people and not have them think. So convincing u that sex is somehow evil except when makin babies is part of that...

but it has been around forever too just like wanking. if it is a sin its is just a small one. but my whole concept of sin cant even fit here.

WE CANT hurt god. And I see god as a warm understanding father. That was what jesus even taught.
Yes there commandments and immorality. So gay bashing, child abuse, etc. is sinful. People are hurt.
Now if you let porn be the most important thing in yer life when u r 25, u have a problem maybe.
